In accordance with parts 3 and 4 of Article 21of the Federal Law of July 29, 2017 No. 216-ФЗ "On Innovative Scientific and Technological Centers and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation" (hereinafter referred to as Federal Law No. 216)Scientific and Technological UniversitySirius carries out educational activities on the basis of a permit for educational activities issued by the Joint-Stock Company "Management Company of the Innovative Scientific and Technological Center "Sirius".

According to Part 10.1 of Article 21 of Federal Law No. 216, University students have all the rights granted to organizations that have received the appropriate licenses and state accreditation to carry out educational activities in accordance with Russian Federation law, and to students of such organizations. Documents on education and/or qualifications issued by the University grant their holders rights similar to those provided to holders of documents on education and/or qualifications of the standard established in accordance with Federal Law No. 273-FZ "On Education in the Russian Federation" of December 29, 2012.

One of the main priorities of Sirius University of Science and Technology is the training of highly qualified specialists. Therefore, the master's degree program requires full immersion, which is difficult to combine with work. Doctoral students, on the other hand, will be employed at the University's research centers immediately upon beginning their studies.

An internship is an opportunity to fully dedicate yourself to a major project during a period free from regular classes. Projects proposed during the internship will have significant scientific value or be necessary for solving the industrial partner's current problems. The internship is conducted under the combined supervision of your academic advisor and an industry consultant.

Sirius University of Science and Technology does not plan to fight competition, but does its utmost to enhance the competitiveness of its graduates. Our industrial partners are confident in the quality of the education provided by the University and intend to offer employment opportunities to our graduates. Therefore, the most anticipated career path for University graduates is a career with our partner companies.

Sirius University plans to establish dissertation councils for research specializations aligned with the University's core areas of work. This will be completed no later than 2024, when the University's first doctoral students complete their studies. Foreign citizens who enjoy the same rights as Russian citizens in accordance with the Law "On the State Policy of the Russian Federation Regarding Compatriots Abroad" and international treaties of the Russian Federation may enroll in the Sirius University of Science and Technology free of charge. An exception is the higher education program integrated with the secondary general education program (specialty programs after 9th grade); only Russian citizens may enroll in this program. Admission to fee-paying programs for foreign citizens (subject to availability) is carried out on a general basis in accordance with the admissions rules.
